Technical Representative, Coating

Key Job Responsibilities include:   

 Contribute to a professional tech. front end to customers (visits, seminars, flyers, papers, trade shows, …)

• Support Sales/Market Mgt on strategy, promotion campaign, staff training, claim handling, shortage management.
• Coordinate PD dept. on new product development target, specifications and define correct test methods.
• Examine market trends and competitor, analyze product comptitiveness and effectively informance communicate 
• Lead technical projects with customers, internal innovation project, internal cost reduction project
• Establish Local Test method accoding to new product range and customer reqeust
• Support customer relevant technical service and documents (IP,TRAQ,COA,etc)
• Conduct,  summarize, report and file the lab work, and collect  and analyze the feedback
• Maintain allocated databases, including Work Status Log and ATT
• Define and maintain laboratory procedures, test methods, and SOP of equipment
• Support continuous improvement of work's flow, quality and scope
• Set up local Colanyl series colorant database
• Ensure safety and quality of lab work
• Ensure a professional cooperation with Sales&Marketing, Production/QC, PS, R&D.                                                   
• Ensure a  professional technical guidance to dealer and customer

Business experience:

• BS Degree in Coatings Technology, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Color Science, or equivalent, or Bachelor Degree in the b.m. majors
• 3 year’s  experience in colorants for coatings (technical service, production, application development, technical marketing).
• Good English written and verbal communication
• Sound understanding of product management and project management
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization

Additional Qualifications:

• Familiar with POS system for coating and waterborne industrial coating application is preferred
• Experience in non-colorant related area of Coatings (e.g. raw materials, paint production, application equipment,)
