Mechanical Engineer(m/f/d)

Heubach India requires multiple professionals to join its green-field campus coming up at Dahej. No of openings: Multiple Reporting to: Manager - Engineering

Key Job Responsibilities include:
 Perform & coordinate activities such as cleaning of machines, breakdown or preventive and predictive maintenance and record pending activities for completion.
 Coordination with the operations department for daily planning and coordination.
 Implement improvements in plant performance to optimize product volume, yields and quality in accordance with business needs, whilst minimizing operating costs and maximizing unit safety and reliability.
 Implement & complete pending and planned activities and record the same in maintenance log book. Implement preventive maintenance plan without affecting production targets and maintenance targets.
 Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
 Diagnose malfunctioning systems, components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
 Work with other disciplines to investigate and identify maintenance faults and propose solutions to prevent re-occurrence.
 Address maintenance failures and identify actual and possible causes of such failures. Create and maintain meaningful measures on critical equipment runtime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and operating costs.
 Maintain breakdown data on a daily basis in log books and machine history card.
 Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis on critical equipment failures.
 Maintain record of stockable and non-stockable items on a weekly basis and submit to Concerned senior for perusal. Forward unused materials to scrap yard & develop scrap report on a weekly, quarterly or monthly basis as requested.
 Place request for spares and tools requirement and ensure spares repair and maintenance.
 Inspect bought out spares and tools for adherance to quality standards.
 Assist in procurement & installation of new equipment to support new product development and commercialization and existing process improvements.

What we are looking for:

 B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical) with Minimum of 3 to 6 years’ experience of related chemical reputed institute.

Working knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance, overhaul and repair, ability to read and understand design drawings.

 Working knowledge of maintenance procedures, manufacturer's detailed manuals (including workshop manuals) and spare parts manuals, should be conversant with HSE requirements and safe working practices, working knowledge of maintenance planning/scheduling methods.

 Critical thinking, Problem solving, Monitoring, troubleshooting, communication, coordination, influencing, planning & organizing.
