Job Summary:

Business Analyst will be responsible for organizing and managing key Commercial sub functions including forecasting, analysis, reporting and commercial excellence. The role holder will work closely with Chief Commercial officer and his leadership team during this transformational journey the organization has embarked upon.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Play a key role in the commercial team by providing data analytics that result in concrete proposals and strategies to lift our sales potential.
  • Competitors Intelligence: Monitor our competitors' activities and their strategic moves to provide proposals for future positioning/opportunities and price offers.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze and report data from consultancies to provide proposals for future positioning/opportunities; manage relationship to external data service providers
  • Set up global supply / demand balances as well as market price and margin forecasts.
  • Report and present sales activities and market developments to stakeholders
  • Provide market outlook and sales volumes forecast in the budget planning process and for the monthly planning.
  • Work in strategy project groups as a representative for the department to shape the future and contribute from a sales perspective.

What are we looking for?

  • You have a Masters Degree in preferably Chemistry, Engineering or Business Administration
  • You have min. 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the chemical / process industry
  • You have a well developed understanding of markets and competitors in the chemical / process industry
  • You have high analytical and communication skills
  • You have experience with multi-national supply and logistics
  • You have excellent English skills
