ACO Operator (m/f/d)
Title: ACO Operator
Overview: The ACO Operator position is directly responsible for all aspects of Heucophos production. They are responsible for monitoring materials, equipment and associated supplies. They are also responsible for both working with Maintenance Mechanics, as well as, performing certain maintenance activities on their own.
Exemption: Non-Exempt; Hourly
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1+ years of related experience preferred, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Knowledge of chemical mixing is a plus. Must be able to read and write in English. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Qualifications: Safety conscious individual focused on ensuring process and product quality. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills. Have the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment. Focused team player. Person must be able to coordinate multiple processes simultaneously.

Direct Reports: None
Observe and follow Health and Safety practices and regulations put in place at all times.
Wear and maintain proper PPE.
Participate in safety programs and trainings as assigned or as volunteered.
Maintain safety awareness and identify opportunities to be safer.
Quality & Customer Focus:
Participate and promote company’s Quality Policy and
Monitor process parameters to ensure process integrity.
Provide accurate information on all paperwork including, but not limited to, batch ticket, environmental monitoring, equipment parameter tracking and other company.
Actively seeks opportunities to improve through use of the Corrective Action system
Operate machinery used in the production process.
Load/Fill a manufacturing tank according to batch ticket.
Take samples from batches.
Record information on batch tickets
Record all operating parameters as defined by the process.
Record all necessary environmental data required in area.
Run Bühler Mill
Operate and correct Candle operations with Manual Pendant
Control and operate all dry end equipment.
Interpret screen controls and outputs.
Package materials in appropriate containers
Operate fork truck and lifting equipment.
Perform maintenance activities as either assigned or required by the process.
Work with Maintenance Mechanics as an assistant to facilitate completion of work.
Operate wastewater treatment presses.
Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
Perform assigned duties as necessary from time to time.
Frequent physical demands: Include ability to: Sit, Walk, Talk, See, Hear, Stand, Climb (i.e. stairs), Carry objects, Push/Pull, Twist and Bend, Reach forward, Reach overhead, Squat, fine motor skills/activities, Wrist position deviation, read and write in English.
Lifting Floor to Waist: 70 lbs.
Lifting Waist Level and Above: 70 lbs
All candidates will be required to take a physical and drug test prior to hire
All new employees will be required to complete the necessary ISO training within 30 days of hire
All Lab, Production and Warehouse personnel will be required to obtain annual clearance of Respirator Fit Testing, Pulmonary Function Testing, and an Audiogram
